A wonderful ¾” square top rail is arched precisely like a cast iron gate from generations past, forming the profile of the headboard. The ¾” square rail at the foot of the bed mimics the exact curve of the headboard in reverse—it dips provocatively down, making it easy for anyone to sit at the foot of the bed. However, the real personality of the bed lies in the carefully honed details of the grill. Slender ½” spindles and scrolls swirl lavishly to make an intricate pattern that truly does welcome all who enter. Metal wraps bind the scrolls at key points throughout the bed.
